Your e-boutique on Instagram

Imagine that one of your products appears on an Instagram post, and that in a few clicks someone accesses your e-shop to immediately buy this product. A dream? No, a reality. We recently implemented this for one of our clients, the Doyat Diffusion Cosmetic company. Specialised in the distribution of cosmetics for beauty and make-up professionals, the company found itself at a standstill during the recent coronavirus crisis. It was an opportunity to seek to and expand their customer base to the general public by setting up an online store. "Influencers use our products. We also wanted to take advantage of this notoriety and these audiences on social networks" explains Cedric Doyat, CEO of the company.


For this, we used instagram shopping with the technique of product tags ("Shoppable Tags"). This function allows us to link the audience of an instagram account to an e-shop. In concrete terms, we add a product catalog to the instagram account. Then, during each publication on the social network, you just have to identify the products used on the image or the story.


Let's take the example of a fashion portrait. The lipstick used by the model during the shooting is identified in the catalog list. If visitors click on the link in the publication, they immediately find themselves on the lipstick page in the Doyat Diffusion cosmetics online store. All they have to do is click and the product is in their shopping cart!

From now on, the publications of the partners influencers can also be reposted by Doyat Diffusion Cosmetics and used to identify the products. The company's assortment thus finds a new visibility on social networks. Note that this technique can be applied to almost any physical product that can be sold and easily allows you to diversify your sales channels on the web.
